Post Richmond update...
Game closed for the next two weeks!

Since there is no Winston Cup race next week, and the week after is "The Winston", which is not a points race, we have closed the game for 2 weeks. This will provide us with time for our administration to work on the game and the server.
A few have asked why we do not run the game for the "Winston" even though it's not a points race. The short answer is, that not all the drivers are eligible to race in this event, and the way it's set up, we won't know who all the drivers until after they run the "Winston Open" which takes place just before the Winston. Additionally, I'm not about to go into the data base and start removing and adding, changing drivers for one event. It's just better to pass this one by!
We'll resume normal game operations on or about the 19th in anticipation of the Coca Cola 600, which will be run Memorial Day Weekend.

Zagami still commands the points battle!

This weeks scores are up, and Dodgeramracer came out on top with 50 points. Considering the top ten finishing order this week, it's a wonder anyone scored that high. I amazed myself with a second place run for the week!
Scores were generally down overall this week, with the average score hitting only 29 points! Not very many people hit drivers in the correct position either, except for race winner Tony Stewart that is! A record 21 players hit the correct winner for Richmond.
Season
Zagami has solidified his hold on the top position in the points standings. But the Davester#5 is closing in fast (a career best for Davester#5), who bumped THE HIGHLANDER out of second place. I moved from 11th into the top five, bumping Trey T. back to sixth. Plenty of changes are still taking place, and it's possible to move several positions with a single week using a good set of picks.
Points have been posted for both the week and the season.
Next week
NOTICE: There is no Winston Cup race next week, And the week after is "The Winston", which is not a points race. So the game will be closed for the next 2 weeks while our site administrator performs maintenance on the game pages. The game will re-open for the Coca Cola 600 one week prior to the race.
